Hello again friends, it seems like an eternity since I posted a BPOTM. This is probably the most fun series because like a lot of people out there, it is just fun to play around with products you haven’t tried before. Before we begin, just a little disclaimer, I overspent this time around. I just couldn’t help myself, I wanted to try as much as I could. There were a lot of good products in this haul. So I will save some for future posts. This will be one of the first times including fragrance on my blog. Fragrance is a tricky one because it’s really down to personal preference and how it reacts your personal chemicals in your body. I actually purchased some of the older fragrances which were very popular around the late 90’s early 2000’s. Without further ado, let’s get started.

1. Slava Zaitsev Maroussia Eau De Toilette Spray for Women 3.4oz

Well, this fragrance really took me by surprise. I love musky warm vanilla tones and this delivered and ticked all the boxes. This perfume made me feel sexy and I got compliments like “You smell good enough to eat” which was quite surprising. Being an Eau de Toilette I expected the scent to fade quickly but in fact, it lasted longer than the perfume I currently use. So I didn’t need to reapply. I absolutely love this product and now I seek to find the Gift set with body wash, body cream, and powder.

2. GLAMGLOW Brightmud Eye Treatment.

GlamGlow has produced many interesting products. Their metallic face masks were all over the internet last year and still remain popular to this day. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical when I first tried a GlamGlow mask for the first time. Now I absolutely love it. So I decided to branch out and try another product from their skincare line. Eye treatment you say? Yes indeed. There are not a lot of products on the market that are specifically an eye mask treatment. So that drew my interest immediately. I absolutely love the packaging and you get 12 treatments. I like the little chrome cells. After using this product for a month I didn’t notice much of a difference. So I decided to try it after a late night with lack of sleep. I woke up with slightly puffy under eyes. So this really put this product to the test. I did my usual skincare routine but instead of using the eye cream I usually use I just used the eye treatment mask. To my surprise, it did kind of reduce the puffiness and I went about my day as normal.

3. Jeffree Star Blood Sugar Palette

Jeffree Star Blood Sugar Palette.

I have been waiting in anticipation for this to arrive and it finally did. I have seen this all over the internet so I get to try it out for myself. Immediately the packaging is on point. Jeffree didn’t spare no expense on this one. It is a little bit on the pricey side, but for the amount of product you get, the packaging and pay for the branding its worth it! The unit resembles a suitcase the stamps on the pans are spectacular especially on the colours, prick and coma. Prick is stamped with a needle and coma is stamped with the medical symbol. The colours are very rich and deeply pigmented and the formula feels creamy and silky. There was no much fallout which is a bonus, and means there will be no waste. I was particularly amazed with the blend-ability. The colours seem to melt into each other. It is very hard to find a palette that is consistent with their formulas. Girl!! You did that! I highly recommend this palette. I actually want to purchase another as a souvenir.

4. Klorane Dry Shampoo with Nettle.

Klorane Dry Shampoo with Nettle.
Call me old fashion, but I am used to washing my hair with shampoo and water. So seeing this product had me VERY skeptical. I have oily hair so I put this product to the test with 3 day unwashed hair. I applied the product as instructed. It was a little powdery and the fragrance is kind of like pine and the scent associated with aquatic air freshener spray. It wasn’t unpleasant and it was tolerable. I was surprised to see the results. My hair felt refreshed it had a little more volume than usual. Would I only use this product instead of the traditional way of cleaning your hair? I think not. Like I said in the beginning, call me old fashion. I think this product is suitable when you don’t have time, maybe for hair shows where you need to play up the volume of already clean hair, travelling or camping. Let’s just say it’s a quick fix on the fly.

5.  Waterpik ADA Accepted WP-660 Aquarius Water Flosser.

Ok here is our last product. I thought I would get something a little different. Yes it’s a water flosser. I have seen products similar to this on the internet and in ads so I thought I would get one of my very own. I set it up as instructed and I have to admit I was a lot more excited than I should have been. I switched it on and set the machine to floss mode and got started. At first it was a little ticklish and I did spray the mirror a few times. As I got better at using it it was great. In a video I watched about it, they said it takes only a minute or 30 seconds each for the top and bottom teeth. I actually discovered places I may have missed with ordinary floss. My teeth felt a lot cleaner than they were before. I used it for a month and I did notice a huge difference. My mouth is feels cleaner and it took away the hard task of trying to floss my back molars.

We have come to the end of episode 2 of BPOTM. As I sit here writing and smelling good enough to eat, (lol) I have to say I had a lot of fun testing out all these products and I look forward to my next post which will be in a couple of weeks. So stay tuned.

As always, thanks for being here. I appreciate each and everyone of you.
